Excerpt taken from Muslim Barack Obama’s fatuous speech to joint session of Congress on February 24, 2009.
“The fact is, our economy did not fall into decline overnight. Nor did all of our problems begin when the housing market collapsed or the stock market sank. We have known for decades that our survival depends on finding new sources of energy. Yet we import more oil today than ever before. The cost of health care eats up more and more of our savings each year, yet we keep delaying reform. Our children will compete for jobs in a global economy that too many of our schools do not prepare them for. And though all these challenges went unsolved, we still managed to spend more money and pile up more debt, both as individuals and through our government, than ever before.”
Interesting how quickly Obama normally jumps to blame George W. Bush for everything in sight, but here doesn’t lay blame. Is it because progressive Democrat policies unarguably caused and continue to exacerbate the problems listed in his speech? The housing collapse resulted directly from unConstitutional Democrat policies interfering with established banking practice thereby putting large numbers of potential Democrat voters into homes they could not possibly afford. This entire program was and is an illegal quid pro quo designed to increase the Democrat voter base. The ensuing creation of the irresponsible derivatives market packaging these valueless mortgages into marketable securities fell out of the same trap. The inevitable banking collapse was a direct result of the implosion of this “house of cards” housing market, derivatives and subsequent massive mortgage defaults. All three sprang from the bowels of the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) of Jimmy Carter’s Democrat Administration assisted by ongoing additions to that pernicious act, not only by the Clinton Administration, but also by the George W. Bush Administration, although in Bush’s defense he did speak out against Congress adding more logs to the already smoldering CRA fire. McCain meekly spoke out against it as well.
Congressional Progressives in both parties are responsible for the promulgation of the problems listed above by Marxist Chairman Obama and are also liable for the continuation of failed Congressional policy decisions aimed at symptoms of systemic problems rather than root causes of those problems. Although Democrats take a strong lead on the futile Progressive front this is nearly as big a problem in the Republican Party. After all, John McCain, supposedly a Republican conservative Presidential candidate in 2008, whose personal favorite past President was Progressive Republican Theodore Roosevelt is also an obvious Progressive. The 2008 Presidential election offered two choices; Progressive Heavy with Obama or Progressive Light with McCain. It’s no wonder nothing changes in these United States regardless of which Progressive candidate from either Party misrepresents his or her way into the oval office.
No political group in the United States has done more over time to prohibit progress by the United States in becoming energy self dependent than the Democrat Party. Outside of a few paltry years Democrats have maintained full control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives for decades. The fact that a myopic Progressive press corps led a majority of Americans to believe Bush and Cheney caused both our economic collapse and our energy problems is evidence of the failure of American education as well as the failure of an irresponsible, politically motivated press and the catastrophic failure of uninformed voters to know better.
Unrealistic Democrat meddling and imposition of Federal mandates on health insurance companies have caused competition to wither and costs to soar across all areas of our health delivery system. Yet it’s Democrats who garner public support for the complete 100% government takeover speciously sold to us as reform. H.R. 3962 is not reform. It’s Stalinism without the bloodshed. Government meddling in health care has already driven many thousands of talented students from the medical field to the point that the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) projects a shortage of doctors by 2025 in the range of 124,000 to 159,300. The atrocious and irresponsible legislation currently being unconstitutionally considered by our reprobate elected officials will increase this shortage by at least another 30,000 and these numbers do not include the thousands of medical personnel who will quit medicine as a profession should this illegal legislation be passed. You don’t have to take my word for any of this. Take a look at the shortages of medical personnel, equipment and medicine in the UK, Canada, Germany, France and anywhere else such as our own State of Massachusetts, where universal coverage has been attempted.
Our school system has been under exclusive progressive Democrat control for at least sixty years. If our education system doesn’t educate our children and our U.S. students are no longer globally competitive, it’s clearly the fault of Democrats. Democrats have reduced education to a baby sitting system employed for socialization and progressive propaganda purposes. Education is far down the list of priorities for any progressive school administrator; behind homosexuality endorsement, politicized science, race baiting and the outright destruction of any hint of spiritual thought.
The Democrats have had full control of both houses of Congress including the House of Representatives, where all spending bills originate, for decades. Republicans have had control for only a very short period since 1994 and the Democrats really controlled everything during that time anyway because Republicans typically have no testicles and are scared to death of the liberal media, which trashes them daily. Irresponsible spending can squarely be laid at the feet of Democrats with light lifting done by cowardly Republicans. I will add the caveat though, that for the first time in Republican history, the Bush Administration promoted Progressive spending above and beyond anything Progressive Democrats would ever have hoped for. The 110th Bush Congress left us with nearly a $1 trillion dollar deficit. Obama’s 111th Congress quickly exploded this irresponsible budget debacle to a staggering $4 trillion and now blames Bush for that.
If our national problems are perpetually unsolved, talk to Democrats who obviously prefer issues to solutions. Issues can alienate voters and build a power base, while solutions are lost from memory before they’re even implemented. Solutions have no political value to Democrats, so they are not pursued except near elections when they can blame Republicans for nothing ever happening. The Republicans are too stupid to figure out they were behind the door the whole time and never had anything to say or do about anything. With the exception of Sarah Palin, a national treasure, Republicans are completely unable to defend themselves. It’s quite a system we’ve built. We don’t have a two-party system. We have a party-and-a-quarter or so, completely beholden 100% to special interest lobbyists and One World power brokers.
No wonder freedom in the United States is going the way of the Edsel. No wonder the status quo Progressive politicos’ fear and hate Sarah Palin. She may be America’s only viable political hope for the survival of individual freedom in the United States. Be careful about mindlessly jumping onto the “hate Palin” bandwagon. She’s one terrifically courageous Mom and she’s fighting for you. Anytime the national media is really worked up about destroying someone; that someone is not for sale to the highest bidder and is most likely very good for you. Take the time to be a little skeptical.
Sarah Palin doesn’t get it right all the time, but her values and ideas are still 500% better, safer and more honest for us as citizens than anything or anyone else on the political table today. She would have been a revolutionary Founder back in the day, which is of course why Progressives are so threatened by her. Sarah Palin may be the only politician in America today with the testicular fortitude to tell the One Worlders to take a hike. I for one will proudly stand behind her skirt any day of the week. Maybe it’s time for America to give matriarchal courage and leadership a try? Looks to me like the boys ain’t handling it so well.
The witless boy’s club has put us inside the sticky pockets of power hungry Globalization protection rackets. Not a good place to be if you wish to remain free.
